What Students Are Saying
Keep your mind on what you came here to do and make your college experience one that you will never forget.
Cassie from Greensburg, LA
Be prompt! Attend class-attendance is everything! Focus! Ask for help-it's one thing to be ignorant, it's another to remain ignorant, never be too prideful to ask for help, ask questions, it benefits you, and you may help someone else by doing so.
kayla from Baton Rouge, LA
Make copies of all papers and correspondence just for your own records. Invest in a good umbrella and rainboots!
alexis from Stone Mountain, GA

Is a beautiful campus, with threes, a lot of space and comfort places to rest and study.
Jose from Puerto Rico
Southern University is a very unique school..and I wouldn't trade it for the world. It definitely has its ups and downs but probably any school, too. I definitely have a love/hate relationship with SU but i couldn't picture myself going anywhere else.
