the courses at southern are very manageable some more rigorous then others but anything is attainable if you want it.

At Southern University academics is key and always is the first priority. The difficulty of a course is dependent on the Professor, the course itself, and the level of the course you are taking. With that being said, my University does not give away degrees, therefore no course will be extremely easy.

You must study and stay on top of your game. The courses are not easy, but the faculty will help you if you prove you are serious about your studies, classes, and succeeeding.

Southern University is the only historically black college or university (HBCU) to have different branches throughout a state. By branching out, it has become one the most diverse HBCUs in America.

You have to study hard but you learn every day something different that help you in school and also in life.

i like all my professors. They are very hands on and being that SU isnt really a big university they are one on one with the students. Just make yourself known to your professors and let them know that you are genuinely trying to make a good grade and they got you.
