What Students Are Saying
So far the course load hasn't been too hard. Obviously there is going to be some difficulty and challenge as that is part of college, but the work makes sense and is doable. The professors are helpful and let you know when they're available. There is also tutoring available for most subjects and courses.
Ambrilee from Arimo, ID
I was studying biology and the classes for this subject seem to be known for being very rigorous. Don’t be afraid though, the professors have a small enough class to know everyone’s name and really care about students passing the class. I had a friend who was failing once and the professor contacted him and he helped him figure out what he could do to pass, and he did! Pay attention to office hours, because using those really help. The material was explained very carefully and the tests were always exactly what the professor said it was going to be. My classes were hard and I studied a lot, but I also really enjoyed them.
Raquel - Smithfield, UT
Academically, Snow has many different classes. The generals classes are nice to take here instead of at a big university because of the small class size.
Kaycee
The classes can be hard but because of the small classes it is easy to get to know your professors and get the help you need. Snow college has good curriculum to get you ready to transfer to a larger university.
Amanda from North Logan, UT
For the most part, you are expected to study rigorously to do well at Snow. Homework and study time can be heavy, especially in the sciences. However, if you balance your time well, you have nothing to fear!
