What Students Are Saying
Classes can be tough but manageable as long as you are good at managing your time. Keep on top of the work and you will do well.
Meaghan from Taunton, MA
My sister is enrolled in the nursing program and challenges herself everyday, constantly learning incredible thing, despite the stress.
Michael from Swampscott, MA
Salem State takes academics very seriously. When you are on a team, involved with a club, or departments like residence life there are checks to make sure that you are doing well in your classes. If you are not, your advisers in these areas are there to help you do well. The classes are tough and require you to work for your grades, but they are not too hard that you won't be able to have a social life.
Emma from New Bedford, MA
the courses vary in difficulty, but each class i have taken at salem state has broadened my mind on the subject being studied and required extensive studying and research outside of class.
Meghan from Beverly, MA
