Metropolitan Community College Area
As the largest post-secondary school in the state of Nebraska, Metropolitan Community College is a 2-year community college serving Omaha and its surrounding counties. For students looking to transfer to a 4-year institution, MCC has reached articulation agreements with 33 colleges and universities to allow its associates degree graduates to complete their bachelor’s. These range from well known in-state schools such as the University of Nebraska and Creighton to out-of-state institutions like the University of Iowa and Kansas State. MCC makes it easy to take public transit to its campuses through Pass to Class: a program granting a Metro bus pass to all students that enables them to ride to and from campus for free.
