For students studying science and health, Merritt’s new Barbara Lee Science & Allied Health Center features state of the art educational technology and a breathtaking vista of the Bay Area. To encourage social activism, The Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Center hosts numerous guest speakers on the subjects of civil rights and nonviolence throughout the year.
