What Students Are Saying

Starting off at Lorain County Community College, either as a PSEO student or after graduation, is a smart decision when it comes to saving money. Financial aid is a major part of LCCC and whether it be GPA, extracurriculars, athletics, or government assistance it is always possible to find some kind of aid. Basic classes can be gotten out of the way in coordination with your career or college plans, and its also a good place to start out at if you are not sure of your direction yet. And always remember that the tools to build your future are in front of you, all you need to do is take advantage of them! LCCC will give you those tools if you are willing to use them.

My only real tips would be make sure you take your courses seriously. A community college is not any easier or harder than a four year college. Do not wait until the last available second to do your work; take advantage of the free tutoring if needed. Even if you do not need tutored, use it as a study tool.

Parking is a bit of a problem so I suggest leaving 25 minutes before you classes start.
