Youngstown State University is a 4-year public school and urban research university based in northeast Ohio. Youngstown State awards undergraduate degrees in over 115 academic majors and is home to research centers including the Center of Excellence in International Business, the Center for Transportation, and the Institute for Applied Topology. Throughout the year, YSU’s Penguin Productions student programming board assembles lineups for a number of music festivals including Fall Fire Fest and Federal Frenzy. For sports fans, Youngstown State fields 19 varsity athletic teams known as the Penguins.
