Hobart William Smith Colleges
With a campus overlooking Seneca Lake, Hobart & William Smith Colleges are liberal arts colleges in the Finger Lakes region of New York State that operate in a coordinate college system. Originally founded as separate colleges for women and men, Hobart and William Smith now share a campus, faculty, and curriculum. Hobart and William Smith award undergraduate degrees in 45 academic majors and 68 minors. For athletically-inclined students, HWS field 23 varsity teams known as the Hobart Statesmen and William Smith Herons.

Hobart is a very interesting place with many opportunities available to those students who aren't afraid to go out and get them. The faculty is beyond helpful and will challenge you intellectually if they know you can handle it. Also, the environment on and off campus is a very humble one that forces you to look outside of yourself and ultimately grow as a human being.
