What Students Are Saying

I suggest that any new student take time to get to know the campus, as well as sit down with an advisor.
Amanda from Sterling Heights, MI
Always attend classes (unless your sick or there's something important you need to do of course!). Henry Ford is very strict on attendance. Some teachers will even give points for attendance, which can help your grade. So don't skip classes for no reason.
Jasmine from Detroit, MI
Get the most out the experience while saving money on the core classes you need! Use rate my professor to find great teachers! Stay focused on the goal and time will fly by.
Candice from Detroit, MI
Its okay to take it one steurp at a time. Do not feel rushed to complete your degree as soon as possible. Enjoy the ride!
Bushra from Dearborn, MI
Get help through the many resources available from the college. As a student tutor within the college's Learning Lab, I was able to help many students whom were having trouble with writing long essays. Make use of the many resources they give to you.
Robert from Grosse Ile, MI
Make sure you take your ACT/SAT test.
Devante from Detroit, MI
Make sure you are well prepared to work hard and study even harder. Just because Henry Ford is a community college doesn't mean you won't be working just as hard as a well known university.
Kayla from Allen Park, MI
always ask for help from your instructors!
ALIF IMRAN from Dearborn, MI
I would be looking for as many grants, loans, and scholarships that would help me pay for all of my classes and my supplies that will be needed for all of my classes. I also would be getting money from the covernment that would be very helpful for me finishing college. The last thing that I'm planning to do is get a part time job on campus and try to budget all of my money that I will be receiving from my job and my family members throughout the United States of America.
