GSW is staffed with highly qualified professors. Always turn your work in on time, study, and never make excuses. If you are having trouble there is free tutoring available.

I say four stars because classes can be very hard and some professors have extremely high standards. Rest assured, you are not expected to behave like you're at an Ivy League, but the standards are higher than you might think at first glance. If you think this school will be something you can just show up for, don't apply because you will regret it. Online classes are great and some can be very easy, but most have more work than a regular class, strict deadlines and require pristine time management.

There are numerous ways to help you succeed around GSW campus. The library is a great place to start! They are open flexible hours and even on the weekend! There is a Student Success Center as well as a Writing Center to help proofread and give you that extra boost to do your best! Also, there are numerous tutoring services free of charge, which is always great!

I do not know much about the academic rigor, but my friends say it can be a lot of work and you will need to buckle down and study hard!

the core classes are not that bad as long as you study regularly, do you assignments, and go to class. many professors count attendance as 10% of your final grade, so that could make the difference between an a or a b, or even between passing and failing. college is different than high school because the professors aren't going to hand you everything and remind you of tests and such.
