What Students Are Saying
While some may tell you that the Woody's dining hall will be the death of you, I've learned that this is not the case. The food is good, and they have very convenient working hours (until 2am usually). Imagine finishing an assignment at 1am and finding yourself in the need for some comfort food. You can just go to the dining halls and get some midnight breakfast.
You should explore dining plans, and the special dining dollars they offer which are exempt from taxes.

The food is pretty good, no real complaints. There are three dining halls on campus none of which are bad but there's easily a hierarchy in the three.

Not the best, not the worst food

Just to let you know woodies is the only dining hall they have on west. It is the oldest of the three Tech has, But they recently just added a popular wing place called wingzone on West. Plus there are a couple of restaurants in a short walking distance like five guys or firehouse subs.
On East you have Britain and North Ave, the newest dining hall. The food is okay to eat. If you are not in the mood for dining hall food ,you can easily head up to Tech Square for some Tin Drums

I preferred cooking for myself over the dining halls. I think cooking meals a few times a week was better than eating in the dining hall because some days the dining hall choices were either lacking or the food was overall okay.
