What Students Are Saying

Make sure that when attending College of the Canyons, you come with the knowledge of how great of a place it is to meet your educational goals and that when in doubt, their will always be great assistance available for you.

Apply early to gain priority registration because classes go very quickly. There are no dorms so apartment with cheap rates or shared commons are available near achool. An if attending carpool ,parking is difficult especially on the first day.
Dana from Saint Lucia
Neighboring students should really take this school into consideration seeing that living at home is very convenient regarding cost and commute. Although a majority of the classes get filled up fairly quickly, do not let that stop you from attending school altogether. As long as you make it onto the waitlist, you should be fine. Out of the five classes I was waitlisted for, I was unable to enroll in only one.
Karla from Sylmar, CA
In order to finish COC in 2 years I say don't be intimidated if all classes are full or you are being weight-listed. Honestly it was that way for me too. I just kept showing up until the teacher was able to add me. If that means showing up for three weeks still not knowing if you are in a class or not that;s what it takes. Several students in my classes would eventually drop out so I just say stick with your classes show up keep asking the teacher if anyone dropped. You can finish a 2 yr school in 2 yrs you just have to jump at any available section of a class. If that means 8am Friday classes well you just have to suck it up and get through it. It will be worth it in the end.
