What Students Are Saying
College is an experience that will be unique to each person as there are different paths we must take. Mistakes are something that sometimes need to be learned based on a first hand lesson. However, do remember that the first goal of college is to learn. Study hard and don't base your grades off of anyone else's. Do NOT be afraid to get help at the first sign of trouble. Lectures wait on no one so as soon as you think you might be slipping, get help to avoid playing catch up. Don't be afraid to miss the big party school should always come first, and it's definitely NOT uncool or lame to stay in on a Friday or Saturday night.

Apply Early! The earlier you apply, the better chance you will have of getting accepted, especially if you do not have an exceptionally high GPA and SAT score. Also, housing priority is determined by your application date to the university, not your application to housing date. So the earlier you apply, the better chance you will have of getting into the dorm you want. In my opinion, Clemson House is the best, as far as room size and living conditions. And they have a dining hall on the first floor!

Dear Prospective Students,
Do you best at your college or university that you may be attending because any school means hard work. The degree you are trying to obtain will not be given to you, but instead you have to earn it. Attending college is the start of your new life; so use your advantages the best you may know how and make something of yourself. The world needs intelligent young women to continue making it a better place. Always strive for success and never give up.

Clemson is a great college choice. They have many safety precautions and aid whenever it is needed. Clemson has so much to offer its students and should really be checked into. There is also nothing like a game in Death Valley!
Kristen from Latta, SC
Buy more than one outfit of orange. Apply early for housing priority. Put money on tiger stripe.
Grace from Orlando, FL
Visit the campus. Clemson has tours all the time. Call and find out everything you need to know about touring. Also, you can make appointments with the dean of the college you are considering going into. Just come visit. There's no way to know whether this school is for you until you come here.
Victoria from Easley, SC
Work in high school so that you can receive merit aid from Clemson! Clemson wants to recruit great students and you can greatly reduce tuition cost with hard work in high school.

Don't be afraid to try new things. There are plenty of people here that would love to be friends, so just go out and meet them! Make good friends and they will stick with you in the good and bad times. Exam week isn't as bad as you would think either. There are plenty of stress relievers and fun things to do. Don't be afraid to ask for help either! People are more than ready to listen. Good luck, and I hope to see you on campus!
Sydney from Sumter, SC
If you want a beautiful campus and a student population that is big, but not big, and every one is friendly, then Clemson is perfect. If Clemson offers your major then more than likely it is an excellent program. I have not heard one complaint from anybody in any major.
Brandon from Hollywood, SC
Apply as soon as you can so that you can get a chance to get on board as soon as possible. You will absolutely love it here. They have a top notch program in place awaiting you.
