Harry S. Truman College is a 2-year community college and one of the largest schools in the City Colleges of Chicago system. Truman is home to 12 academic departments and is the City Colleges hub for Education and Human & Natural Sciences. Furthermore, Truman is a center for adult education, hosting one of the largest GED and English as a Second Languages programs in the state of Illinois. Outside of the classroom, Truman fields several athletic teams in men’s and women’s basketball and soccer as well as a women’s volleyball squad.
