Tips for prospective students | The best tips that I can give prospective students are: 1) Be prepared to have personal interaction with your professors. Unlike larger universities, Chowan is smaller so there are more opportunities to have one to one interactions. 2) You will definitely be able to get involved with student activities and even have the opportunity to start your own clubs and organizations. Do NOT be afraid to express you views and opinions! Chowan is accepting to all students. 3) College is a major life transition, you will make friends for life and build relationships that will last a lifetime. If I have learned anything from being in attendance at Chowan University, I know that stepping out of your comfort zone and not being afraid of who you are will enable you to conquer the college life! |
