Our professors are more than willing to help with tutoring and giving extra learning availabilities for students. There is no favoritism at Chowan. Every student is given the same chance. Class sizes are not too large and there are so many choices when it comes to declaring a major or minor, your academic advisor will be there with you every step of the way to ensure that you make the choices that best suit you and your desired career.

I would say the professors are very good and what they do.The classes are small and gives you a lot more time to ask questions and get help with anything that you are unsure about.

The academic programs that are offered here at Chowan are comparable if not better than larger universities in metropolitan areas. The teachers provide students with subject matter that enable them to compete for interships, employment and further academic programs.
