Belhaven University is a Christian liberal arts institution founded in 1883. Rated as having “selective” admissions, the university is also affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. Belhaven University’s main campus is based in Jackson, Mississippi, and the school operates six satellite campuses as well as online programs. BU is one of 36 universities nationally accredited in music, theater, visual arts, and dance, and is also recognized by the White House STEM Initiative, one of only two Christian colleges.
