AACC is a community college so there are no dorms.

The cafeteria is a fun, cozy place, the food is great and the staff is nice. On occasion we even have entertainment to enjoy with our meals!
What to do for fun
There are many clubs from career related clubs to the adventure club. Science night is always blast, there are pajama parties and haloween fun!
Bang for the buck
But the best thing about AACC is that you get the best of the best and you still have enough money to eat food OTHER then ramen!!

AACC is great. Not only is is close to home but it is extremely affordable, and all of the instructors want to help you in accomplishing your degree.
Tips for prospective students
Deffinately look into which professors your taking classes with. Most of the professors are phenominal but there are a handful of teachers that are not the best. So try to look into that before signing up so you canhave the best possible learning experience possible without the hassle of trying to comprhend what the professor wants because it is never specifically explained.
Academic Rigor
All of the courses are very rigorous, but they are not challenging. Even theough the classes can be difficult at times the professors are always willing to help you succed.
Dorm Life
No dormatories at AACC
Food and Dining
Food is wonderful is is always prepared daily and there is never anything stale or sour.
What to do for fun
Not only are there an array of clubs and societies to join, but there is always something going on for everyones different interests.
Bang for the buck
Reasonably priced and thousands of classes to choose from. I take about 4 to 6 classes per semester and it only costs me any where from $1,300- $1,500. Varrying on the classes you take and how many.
Great for these types of students
Any types of students really. you can alwyas find your nieche and people who enjoy the same things yopu do and they never judge you.
Greek Life
No greek life, that i know about.
Campus Safety
There is plenty of campus safety. I normally pass at least three officers on my walk to classes and you will always see them in their cars, or on bikes riding around campus. The campus police's nuumber is posted everywhere so if you every need it there is never a chance of not finding it. And if you can find it in all of the parking lots there are big blue columns with big red buttons if you ever need help and cannot find the campus security number.

Am learning a lot
There are many classes you can take in a wide range of subjects, and most of the professors here are experts in their field. For example, I took Bio 101; basic class, something to get out of the way, right? Well, my professor knew so many things, and about half of those things weren't even in the book! The lab was great too, we got to do hands on work on DNA sequencing and watched meiosis and mitosis right on the screen to see the difference. I've taken also ceramics and martial arts there. Master Sherman, my martial arts instructor, didn't just make us go through the exercises that every martial artist knows and helped us with learning different ways to defend ourselves that you can't learn in a Karate class alone.
Am enjoying being here
The campus is a medium campus as far as colleges go, but none of the classes are too far apart to get to. Well maybe the Annexes. Even though AACC is a community college, the teachers really care about their students, and that's a plus for me. If I had a teacher, and I'm being honest here, if I had a teacher that didn't care about me, I'd start to slack. They really push the envelope, and that's a good thing. Also, there's good opportunities in extracurricular activities too. There's anime/gaming/Japanese clubs, outdoors/environmental clubs, and you can even join one of the many musical or theatrical productions here, like jazz band, orchestra (full and string), concert band, and opera, as well as various forms of dancing and plays from famous, and not so famous, playwrights.
Bang for the buck
I think this college has a wonderful value. Most professors are experts in their field, and they care about their students, which motivates the students to do better. There's a huge variety of available classes, without having to walk three football fields to get from class to class.
Tips for prospective students
This college has the kind of community feel that you might get in a high school, but grow up and act like adults, not high schoolers. I mean, have fun, be happy, but be mature. Nothing ruins a day at college than thinking you can still goof off but you learn pretty quick you really can't.
Great for these types of students
Those of you willing to learn, those of you hungry for knowledge, those of you that don't have the money to spend of a real college, this is as close as you can get to one without being four year. It's a moderatecollege really geared towards anyone who really wants to come.
