Established by Hungarian refugees following World War II, Yeshivas Maharit D’Satmar is a Chassidic Jewish yeshiva in upstate New York. Maharit D’Satmar offers a Talmudic Studies program culminating in a First Talmudic Degree. The yeshiva curriculum consists of three departments of Talmud, Jewish Ethics, and Jewish Legal Codes. For two weeks every summer, Maharit D’Satmar sponsors a retreat in the Catskill Mountains for all students.
