What Students Are Saying

The cafe has great hours for students, and a variety of healthy choices. The campus also has a coffee shop in Elva Jones Computer Science Building , a bagel shop in Hill Hall, Popeyes, Subway, a Pizza place, a Burger Joint, and three small stores ALL located on campus.
Shae from Oxford, NC
Food and dinning is good. WSSU offer a food court and campus dining. The food is always good.
Zachary Bernard Lake
The food at WSSU is delicious. There is a variety of choices, flavors and styles. The cafeteria is nice, clean, and presentable.
Miss beautiful from Charlotte, NC
The food options here are great. The cafe isn't bad at all, towards the end of the semester they get lazy but its been decent so far especially breakfast. We also have a Popeyes on campus and that's a plus.
Khayla from Colerain, NC
The café is pretty acceptable, especially on Wednesdays. There is a wide variety of choices whether youre vegan or a daily meat eater your choices are there, but only until 7 30.
Brittany from Durham, NC
The food is okay. We have fried chicken Wednesday and fried fish Friday. The fish and beans are great. We also have a RamShack here where they sell fast food and SubWay, so sometimes you can eat other food besides the stereotypical college food.
