What Students Are Saying

If you're still in high school apply for their scholarship, you won't regret it, I got a full ride. It is only a 2 year college, but many of their credits transfer. Of the 7 professors I had my first year, 6 were amazing, one was a bit of a rambler, but he was a fluke and isn't teaching anymore as far as I understand. You can prevent this kind of experience by using one of those 'rate my professor sites before you fully commit to a class.
E.
take a history class with fitzpatrick, he will prepare you for anything uofm or any other 4 year institution can throw at you.
Benjamin from Stockbridge, MI
Be prepared for college. Though this is a community college, you still need to be in the mindset that it's not high school. I had many fellow classmates, much younger than I, who didn't succeed in classes because they were unable to understand that unlike high school, college requires you to take responsibilty for your education.
Christopher from Ypsilanti, MI
Don't get discouraged. You may have one or two bad teachers or counselors but that does not mean that they all are. Washtenaw is a great school to attend and they offer a a lot different classes.
Ciera from Ypsilanti, MI
Go to Washtenaw! It is a great college for students that do not know what they want to do and it is a lot cheaper than other four year colleges. The teachers are very caring. WCC provides many opportunities make sure to take advantage of them!
