What Students Are Saying
Again, I live at home and eat at home. But they do have lots of food options on campus. They have a little market store where you can conveniently get your daily goods, and they also have a dinner. There are also many vending machines for a quick snack.

There are five different options for students to live in at Washburn however their is only two for incoming freshman. The one in which I stayed in is called the Living Learning Center or as we students know it as the LLC. This building is primarily for incoming freshman and is connected to the Ichabod shop and the memorial union. The dorm rooms are double occupancy with two rooms with a shared bathroom. Each hall has an RA whose primary goal is to help students whether that be emotionally or with problems that they might face with their classes. On the first floor there is a front desk where students can go to if they don't know who the RA is. Now, on the second floor that is where the fun is whether a student has fun in the game room or just has some fun washing and folding their laundry in the laundry room then that's the place to be. Students typically enjoy their first year being an Ichabod I know I sure did being away from home is scary and complex in a new environment but all I can tell incoming students is to enjoy and have fun!
