What Students Are Saying

Engage with the staff and faculty members because they are really there to help you in any way that they can. Some of the faculty are even students themselves and know both sides of how to work with the system to get through each class.
Cody from Newport Beach, CA
See a counselor about which program you are thinking about to find out about pre-requisites
Lynne from Fontana, CA
The best advice for prospective students is to do your research on all the colleges you plan to apply to. Make sure that the decision made is made without any regret. Also, I would advise to always be educated on yout financial aid status because Brandman is really expensive.
Markie from Vacaville, CA
Regardless what school you attend make sure that you are comfortable with the set up of the program, there are resources to help you along the way, and that the instructors or advisers seem to really care about you and your success. Make sure you explain in detail what you are wanting to accomplish career wise.
Jennifer from Albany, MO
Make an appointment with an advisor to customize a plan for your specific needs.
Josefina from Porterville, CA
Take advantage of all of the educational tools that Brandman makes available for students. Some of my favorites are the writing labs and the executive coaches. I also really like that I can take all of my classes online and still feel apart of a classroom environment.
Brittnee from Nipomo, CA
Know your strengths with online courses. If you tend to forget about assignments and due dates a full online course may not be for you. The blended course option has just enough face to face to encourage and motivate for the eight week course while still allowing the felxibility of a fully online course structure.
Sarah from Fairfield, CA
Classes are only 8 weeks long so it is very important to look ahead and stay on top of your work!
Lucas from Modesto, CA
Tips for prospective students ¢ When researching an online school be weary of the advisors that try to sign you up in the first five minutes. Ask questions about the education of their instructors, method of instruction, their accreditations and if classes are eligible for transfer. What Declining by Degrees on you tube for more tips.
