What Students Are Saying
Get involved! There is ALWAYS something going on, whether it be Greek life or on campus itself.
Jordey from Fort Smith, AR
Meet with your adviser often. Your adviser will be a lifeline if any questions or concerns may arise. He or she can also help you find degrees or clubs that will make your college life more enjoyable. Being an active member on campus is also very important. There are so many clubs and events that you will miss out on if you just show up to your classes and leave when they are over.
Kendall from Fort Smith, AR
College is hard for everyone, just hang in there. Even though it will seem unbearably hard at times, you can do it.
Morgan from Fort Smith, AR
I would advise future students not to skip class and miss their work. College professors at this university tend to take off points for people who miss. Take good notes, study them, take advantage of your books and highlight everything you need to know!
Taylor from Greenwood, AR
Instead of coming to college just to go, look at what career you want to pursue first. THEN look and see if this school has the right degree for you.
Isaac from Pocola, OK
Just be ready for a campus full of activity.
David from Fort Smith, AR
Live on campus if you can afford to. There are so many more opportunities to make friends and enjoy the college.
Samantha from Ozone, AR
UAFS has an office on campus for local colleges.
