What Students Are Saying
Take as many classes as you can at TJC before entering a 4 year college. Be sure to communicate with your advisor and promptly ask any questions. If taking online courses, begin following the syllabus right away, I found the assignments easy to keep up with that way.
determined to finish
While going to Tyler Junior College can be a blast, DO NOT party around all the time. You will need to study and put effort into your courses no matter how hard or easy they may be. With that being said find a club or two to join; they make your stay at TJC so much more fun and interesting.
Rachel from Whitehouse, TX
Get involved! get involved but don't over do it, you will enjoy everything so much more if you go out and meet people and get involved.
Haley from White Oak, TX
Get involved as much as you can. There are many organizations on campus including sports teams, the Apache Belles drill team, national champion boys and girls soccer team, religious organizations, Phi Theta Kappa honor society, band, and many other opportunities.
Melody from Sunnyvale, TX
I would recommend this for student's who plan to study a two year major or for students who want to pursue a four year major and then transfer due to it's low tuition or who lack money to pay for a university.
Josue from New Summerfield, TX
