What Students Are Saying
TMCC isn't a very hard school to get into and if you take it seriously you will learn so much. Register early so you can get the classes you want. Don't be afraid to use the tutoring center, its completely free and there for the students.
Jacob from Sparks, NV
Read the description of the class before you register for it. Listen to what other students say about teachers. See if you can figure out what teacher fits you type of learning because sometimes there is more than one teacher, but they teach differently. Register as early as you can to get the classes you want or need. Based on the teachers I have had so far, they are understanding and will try to help you as much as they can.
Hannah from Silver Springs, NV
Look up reviews on teachers on ratemyprofessors.com before enrolling in a class. It can really help it getting an effective teacher.
Fiona from Reno, NV
always know that you can ask for help that you don't have to be afraid to ask anyone for help around the campus, everyone is friendly and nice. also take advantage of the tutoring center because one it is free and it helps a lot with math and writing. they have tutors that are dedicated to their job and that is helping us through the class.
Nyisha from Sparks, NV
do your homework with regards to the program you are seeking a degree in. an advisor can help you but ultimately it is your responsibility to verify the information given to you is correct. this is a great school with great people, great professors, decent prices and very flexible for any schedule. i would highly recommend.
