The Ailey School is a professional dance training academy in Manhattan’s Midtown West neighborhood. Ailey’s Professional Division is open to students age 17-25 and offers a 1-year independent study, 3-year certificate program, and a full-time scholarship program for its most talented students. Additionally, The Ailey School partners with Fordham University to confer a 4-year Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance degree. The school is headquartered in the Joan Weill Center for Dance, NYC’s largest dance facility featuring 16 studios and a 275 seat auditorium.
