Utilizing pre-World War II European Talmudic seminaries as a model, Talmudical Seminary Oholei Torah is a Chasidic Jewish yeshiva in Brooklyn. Oholei Torah offers a Talmudic Studies program that incorporates the seminary’s Departments of Chasidic Philosophy and Jewish Law. In addition to coursework, all students are encouraged to participate in community service in the surrounding Crown Heights neighborhood. Students at the yeshiva also publish a weekly journal on Chasidic topics and an annual compendium of the school year’s best Talmudic research papers.
