Founded in 1884, St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing is a healthcare studies institution in eastern Pennsylvania and the oldest continuously operating nursing school in the United States. St. Luke’s nursing program features a 20-month academic curriculum and students participate in over 900 hours of clinical work through the St. Luke’s University Health Network. In addition, the program includes a preceptorship where every student works alongside a nurse for one-on-one mentorship. Throughout the school year, nursing students participate in a number of social nights such as dinner-dances and community service projects including blood drives.
