Academic Rigor
everyday you learn new things that are beneficial plus you have very helpful people here to inform how to achieve your goal and the college experience is challenging but great.
Am enjoying being here
i love it here!!! for the most part, people are very friendly here and i enjoy walking to the brooklyn promenade and lots of places here in the city. they have a gym fitness room down stairs and a swimming pool. . . it's awesome!!!
Tips for prospective students
it's a little expensive but i suggest taking classes all year round to get your credits you need on time and also try taking classes in community colleges.

st. francis college has many great professors who are willing to work with the students in order to understand the material better. staff and other members of the college are very kind, cooperative, helpful and friendly. the college is kept very clean and the location of the building has many restaurants, sight views and much more.
Tips for prospective students
some tips for prospective students would be to join some clubs at the college. joining a club helps one learn, be able to socialize and much more. if one is a student that is struggling in a class there is free tutoring available located in the academic center.
Academic Rigor
the professors teaching the course help the students learn the material and apply to situations. a student will find themselves being taught the material and understanding it thoroughly. one is able to use what they learned and think into a situation. professors challenge students to test how well they actually comprehended the material.
Dorm Life
i do not dorm; however i commute to the college by taking the train.
Food and Dining
i have ordered food from the cafeteria a few times. the food in general was delicious and the prices were decent. the cafeteria is usually crowded. there are also vending machines located around the building.
What to do for fun
on ones free time during a school day there is a lot to do. some things may include going to the library and do some studying/homework with friends or alone. there is also an hour on mondays which is called, "activity period" where no class is in session. during this time, there are events happening all around the school. for example, some clubs may have meetings, some clubs may have events going on of there own, bake/food sales, motivational speakers coming to talk, instrumental playing and much more. the location is nice and a lot of restaurants near by and the promenade to visit.
Bang for the buck
honestly, the tuition amount is very expensive and difficult to pay. but, i believe that i am getting the best education here at st. francis college.

i have not heard/seen any unusual traditions at st. francis college.

st. francis college is great for students who are career driven, love to play sports, socialize around campus upon many great activities and much more.

i am currently in a club and i love it. it connects you with different individuals and help with socializing. as a club there are many activities going on and everyone is there to help and accomplish goals. the college has many activities going on and they are great to attend.
Campus Safety
i feel safe at st. francis college. there are security around the building and they are very nice. i feel secured when i am in the building.

Comfortable atmosphere, Small class sizes, and Teachers are aware of who you are. Cafeteria is very clean, many places to sit, fun to participate in activities. Easy to find classroom and friendly faces.

Late work is not tolerated, Must be attentive and participate, note taking is a plus.
Dorm Life
Did not dorm, had many friends who did. Very spacious and very close to main building.
Food and Dining
Cafeteria is always clean, foods cooked there are absolutely amazing,everything is a low price.
What to do for fun
Attend fairs and Activities held during the week either in the cafeteria or gym. Many resturants and always something going on in downtown brooklyn right outside school. Great place to be.
