One of the first Catholic seminaries to begin admitting the general public, St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry is a Roman Catholic graduate school in Rochester. St. Bernard’s confers master’s degrees in Divinity, Pastoral Studies, and Theological Studies. Throughout the year, St. Bernard’s sponsors guest lectures on contemporary church issues by visiting theologians through the Otto A. Shults Lecture Series. The school also hosts a number of community gatherings and workshops throughout the year in collaboration with the Diocese of Rochester.
