With a campus in the heart of downtown, South Texas College of Law Houston is the oldest law school in the state’s largest city. The college is divided into institutes such as the Frank Evans Center for Conflict Resolution and Advocacy Program. South Texas also provides numerous learning opportunities through its Civil Practice and Externship Clinics as well as clinics that focus on special areas of the law such as Asylum and Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence. Students at South Texas also have the opportunity to join the Law Student Division of the Texas and American Bar Associations.
