If not computer litterate then get that way.
Plan and stay focused, make plenty of time to read.

do not work more than 20 hours a week if you don't have to. don't listen to what students say, talk to advisors. always apply for scholarships.

this college has great campus and personal

Attend all classes as much as possible. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Take notes. Get to classes early. Study. Do your work once you get it.

Come into South Plains College with an open mind and be ready to set your goals high. The teachers set very high expectations for their students and it is easier to meet these expectations if you give your all. Always come prepared to class, the teachers do not accept late work or excuses.

Its always better to start at a community college vs. a university. In order for you to explore your options, but whatever you do make decisions before its too late.

Fill out your FAFSA early as it takes time to process because they have so many apllicants! If you need help the financial aid department is always very willing to help and never impatient!
