South Piedmont Community College is a 2-year institution with two campuses and two extension centers in south-central North Carolina. South Piedmont is home to nine academic departments of degree and certificate-granting programs, as well as an honors program. To provide students an opportunity to make a positive contribution to the local area, SPCC’s Service Learning Program offers several courses that provide credit for completing a community service project. Additionally, every incoming student is required to enroll in a First Year Experience orientation session during the summer prior to their freshman year.
