See a counselor as often as you can, even if you already know what you want to do with your life. Make sure to get an AA only if it is necessary because once you receive an AA, SCC will no longer grant you financial aid. This is perhaps the only negative comment that I have about SCC.

-Buy a parking permit. A day permit is cheap at $2 but eventually will be more than the permit itself. And they do have campus security who WILL ticket you if you're parked without one.
