The San Joaquin College of Law is a law school in the Fresno metropolitan area and the only legal institution in California’s San Joaquin valley. SJCL offers its law program in both 4-year, 5-year, and accelerated 3-year options, with students in the accelerated program taking additional courses during their second and third years. Students at the college also publish The San Joaquin Agricultural Law Review, the oldest agricultural legal publication in the United States. SJCL provides higher education opportunities to an underserved population with over 60 percent of SJCL’s enrollment being made up of first generation college students.
