Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology
Founded by the Priests of the Sacred Heart, Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology is a Catholic institution in the Milwaukee metro area and the largest Catholic seminary in America training adult students for priestly formation. Sacred Heart offers a master’s degree in Divinity through its Priestly Formation program and the average age for the seminary’s priesthood candidates is 43. Additionally, Sacred Heart features an Hispanic Studies program to prepare seminarians for ministry in Hispanic congregations. As a Catholic institution, the seminary holds daily mass at the Sacred Heart Chapel and smaller prayer spaces at the St. Joseph and Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapels.
