Will enjoy being here | Their 4 campuses are beautiful and well equipped, with a great atmosphere for both learning and fun. |
Bang for the buck | PHCC definitely beats going to a university for the first two years of college. compared to a university, PHCC is by far cheaper. If you are a resident, i highly recommend taking advantage of dual enrollment to save even more money. |
Tips for prospective students | The biggest tip I could give is to take at least one English Composition course before attempting classes that comply with the Gordon Writing Rule. Many of the classes require MLA documentation and that is best taught in English Composition I. |
Great for these types of students | PHCC is great for Florida residents, local high school students, and people on a budget looking to further their careers. |

In three sentences | The staff and professors are extremely welcoming and always willing to help. The Spring Hill campus is a tight knit family who participates in all activities. I would definitely recommend this college to everyone. |
Tips for prospective students | Be sure to utilize every available resource such as the Teacher Learning Center, where tutors are always available for free, never be afraid to speak to a teacher or your advisor, and always participate in on campus events, which are free because of your tuition. |
Academic Rigor | The teachers will challenge your mind to make sure that you leave with all of the knowledge that you need to succeed. |
Dorm Life | Since PHCC is a community college, there are no dorms available. |
Food and Dining | PHCC's West Campus has an amazing cafe and all of the other campuses always have something going on with free food. |
What to do for fun | Yoga is available to all students, there is a club to fit any interest a student may have, and there are weekly events with free food and prizes. |
Bang for the buck | You will receive the best education for a lower tuition rate. |
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus | Any smoker looking for a quiet smoking gazebo on the Spring Hill campus should go downstairs to the secluded, peaceful gazebo and anyone looking for a clean restroom should use the upstairs bathrooms or the bathrooms in the TLC. |
Great for these types of students | Great for students wanting a great education without overpaying for their AA or AS. PHCC is also better for students who prefer a small campus. |
Clubs and Activities | I am an ambassador and president of the Circle K International club and I would highly recommend that students find a club they enjoy or start a new one. The events on campus are always a blast and are a must for fun seeking students. |
Greek Life | There are honor societies based on your major, which will help you to transfer and earn scholarships. |
Campus Safety | There are security guards that patrol the campus to make sure nothing is happening to make students feel threatened. |
