Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences is a school of healthcare studies in central Washington state and the third oldest medical school in the northwest region. PNWU is home to the College of Osteopathic Medicine dedicated to training physicians in rural and underserved locations. Additionally, PNWU partners with Washington State University and Heritage University to offer Nursing, Physician Assistant, and Medical Science programs. As a community service, PNWU students provide volunteer medical services at Yakima Union Gospel Mission Medical Clinic for patients experiencing hardships.
