What Students Are Saying
Residing in a dorm for your first year is highly recommended; apply early for a single room which is more costly but well worth it. No need for a car. Campus is extremely secure.

For your first semester don't take too many courses, try to full time if possible, because of the financial aid. Work with your designated counselor to see what options you have.

If you are very intimate about your privacy get a single room in the dorms. Build good relationships with your professors it can be the difference between getting a B+ or an A. Try your best not to be shy, college is about getting an education but also building valuable connections.

Be sure to stay on top of all of your paperwork! There are a lot of students attending this school. Because of this, the offices can sometimes be unorganized. Make sure you stay on top of what paperwork is required. When you are first signing up for your classes and financial aid, it can be easy to lose paperwork. Don't expect the school to stay on top of everything.
Alicia from Fayetteville, NY
