Montgomery Community College is a 2-year community college in central North Carolina. MCC grants degrees and certificates in 29 fields of study. To help protect surrounding forests and communities, MCC partners with the North Carolina Forest Service to offer wildland firefighting courses through the college’s Prescribed Fire Training Center. For a break from academia, the MCC campus is home to recreational facilities including a sand volleyball court.
