Bang for the buck | Great education without breaking the bank from high tuition. |
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus | Itasca has a pow wow every year. Allowing students to be exposed to an Indian Culture. |
Great for these types of students | Itasca Community College is great for someone unsure about what they want to major in. In addition, they offer Associates Degrees in Business, Engineering, Nursing,Forestry, and a traditional AA. |
Clubs and Activities | They have a great CRU and many other great clubs to join. Itasca also has Volleyball, Football, Wrestling, Women's Basketball, Men's Basketball, Softball, and Baseball teams. They also provide many intramural sports. |
Campus Safety | Itasca is very small and safe environment. |

In three sentences | Small campus and small town, but with a big heart. Easy to bike or walk to town and the bowling alley is 5 mins away walking. Lots of trees and nature stuff. |
Tips for prospective students | Stay the night or go to a camp. Get to know as many professors as you can. Don't mess around with the apple trees. |
Academic Rigor | I've been told that this is a very good school if you want to be an engineer. |
Dorm Life | (Reviewing the Engineering Building dorms) Cold floors and worse than average bathrooms, but with a large area. TV in the common area, lots of chairs, and a community fridge. |
Food and Dining | Good food, but limited selection. |

Tips for prospective students | Don't procrastinate or take too many credits your first semester. |
Academic Rigor | Engineering classes are difficult but teachers are very willing to help. Small classes that are very student friendly. |
Dorm Life | Dorms are larger than at other schools I toured. |
Food and Dining | Food is good but not large variety. |
What to do for fun | Participate in the weekly dorm life activities. It's fun to hang out and play pool and games in the Activities Center. |
Bang for the buck | This school is small, family oriented. Class sizes are small and credits are inexpensive. Teachers are extra helpful and it's nice to have a small school feel that you can usually find staff to help you. Study groups really help! |
