In three sentences | Beautiful school, cheap rent on properties/rooms, low tuition but a great program. Champion Rodeo Team, Wind Energy Research, Iron Pour, plus great support if you need help in your classes. Can't Wait! |
Tips for prospective students | Get to know your professors. It's a small school, and it pays to attend lectures and classes. Attendance is part of the grade! Make use of the Student Service Center, they offer tutoring for free. |
Academic Rigor | At least for the first year, classes seem fairly simple. But as you climb, so does the level of intensity in your studies and the difficulty of your classes. |
Dorm Life | No actual dorms, but plenty of student rate hotels, local cost of living on housing very low and many options are available to students. |
Food and Dining | Again, no actual dining hall, but nearly twenty nearby restaurants ranging from chinese and pizza to mexican and fast-food. |
What to do for fun | Rodeos, Festivals and Community Activities year around. Three lakes within an hour's drive, golf course, museums, hiking and motor biking areas all around. School hosts frequent functions through student activities. |
