Am learning a lot | They have helpful teachers and offer a vast assortment of resources to utilize in your studies. Plus, there are two campuses to choose from that each have there own great qualities. I attend both campuses for the best selection of classes and the opportunity to benefit from what both have to offer. |
Am enjoying being here | I have had a very pleasant college experience so far. Everyone I encounter on campus is extremely friendly and helpful. I always am able to find what I need. |
Bang for the buck | The classes offered are extremely affordable. I am able to attend college full-time and still cover my expenses. |
Tips for prospective students | Just explore the school and what it has to offer. |
Great for these types of students | It is great for pretty much everyone. The student body is widely diverse and there are plenty of student clubs to explore and meet other students with similar interests. It is great for students who want to learn a lot without paying a lot. |

Am learning a lot | Most of the teachers at MCC are really educated and know what they are teaching. I think that they give the student everything they need to do well in whichever class they are taking and it is up to the student to grasp, memorize, or let it go. I personally have learned a lot and wish that it was a 4 year college because I feel like I would really educate myself there. |
Am enjoying being here | MCC has alot of different activities and programs to give a student an enjoyable time there. I do enjoy it there and found myself going earlier and staying later to just bask in the ambiance of the school and all of the people there. The teachers are all so caring and wanting the success of the student that some are willing to go that extra mile for the students. Even without mentioning the free food that is sometimes there, MCC is really enjoyable. |
Bang for the buck | MCC is one of the cheaper colleges to attend but I don't think you get what you pay for...I think you get more. The curriculum is a little higher than what you expect going into a community college. The teacher there seem to want to give you their knowledge so you can become as fascinated in the subject as they are. |
Tips for prospective students | Make sure to choose your teacher wisely because like at every institution there are teachers who enjoy teaching and there are teachers who could care less. |
Great for these types of students | I think it's great for every type of student out there. There is something for everyone. |

Am learning a lot | The professors here are great and because it is a community college, they are more focused on your education than research. |
Am enjoying being here | Mesa Community College tries to give the students a campus life. There are two coffee shops, stands around campus selling food, as occasional events to make it seem more like a university than a community college. |
Bang for the buck | MCC is definitely worth every penny. The advisors there are great at helping you find scholarships if you are in need of financial aid. |
Tips for prospective students | Community college is definitely a good idea for kids just pursuing their associates degree, but it is also a great idea for kids looking for a BA degree or above. Remember, employers are not looking for where you started out, but where you ended. |
Great for these types of students | Great for anyone in need of financial aid that can not afford university tuition, people looking for their associates degree, and kids who need an easy transition from high school to a university. |

Am learning a lot | Throughout my college years, I began to take school more serious. The teachers want more out of you than you realise. As a person, you will grow. Because the class sizes are smaller, you won't miss a lot of information on what you're learning. |
Am enjoying being here | The teachers here are great role models! Most of the professors I've had here have had wonderful personalities and are very personable (and also very humorous). The campuses have something for everyone. If you like the university setting, apply at the main MCC campus. If you like a smaller campus, apply at the Red Mountain Campus. |
Bang for the buck | I have had many classmates say it's down right dirt cheap to apply and it is super easy to receive grants. MCC is definitely more bang for your buck! |
Tips for prospective students | MCC is a great way to help transition to the universities. It's cheaper, so you can receive your pre-recs at more than half the cost. |
Great for these types of students | This school is great for anyone! |

Am learning a lot | There are the teachers that you don't like and can't really learn well with, but there will always be those types. There's free math and psychology tutoring if a student needs. The teachers are always willing to help when they can because they genuinely enjoy the job. |
Am enjoying being here | I've made so many new friends and even have seen some old ones that I haven't seen since my sophomore year of high school and they always greet me. Thee school has so many different clubs to keep you engaged and a variety of classes you can chose from. |
Bang for the buck | The tuition is relatively cheap especially if you're strapped for money the school even has it's own scholarship to help you get in. |
Tips for prospective students | You ALWAYS need to do your homework no matter how trivial, insignificant or hard it seems. Those missing assignments add up and at the end of the year you get stressed out and your work becomes trash. Trust me I know. |
Great for these types of students | If you have no idea what you want to do yet, Mesa Community College is a perfect place to start. When I came here I had no idea what I wanted, but now I have a possible major n psychology because I've had two amazing teachers and next year I'm going to slowly achieve that major. |
