With a campus on the banks of the Sabine River, Lamar State College-Orange is a 2-year community college on the east Texas border. LSCO is home to over 35 degree and certificate granting academic programs as well as workforce training and non-credit classes known as “leisure learning.” Amongst these offerings, LSCO’s Game Designer and Game Specialist programs provide lessons and training to enter the digital gaming technology field. To provide a break from classes throughout the year, LSCO hosts campus-wide social activities including Octoberfest and a Spring Day athletic celebration.
