Kirtland Community College
Kirtland Community College is a 2-year institution covering the largest geographic area of any Michigan community college. Kirtland is home to five academic departments offering 25 degree and certificate-granting programs. With a campus located in a forested area of northern Michigan, Kirtland’s Wood Science Technology program trains students for careers in the wood products industry utilizing faculty-designed lab equipment. Additionally, students in the college’s Cosmetology program operate a lab providing beauty services to the public.
