What Students Are Saying
The biggest tip I can give is to meet with your advisor and to get your classes figured out each semester. The other tip is go to class everyday and if you need help ask, because the professors are willing to help.
Beth from Marion, IA
Some good tips for prospective students would be to fill out as many scholarships as you can. College is not free, and you are going to want as much help as you possibly can. If you are going to live on campus, make sure you know how to cook, clean, and do your own laundry. If you do not know how to do any of those; learn now while your mom is still in the same household as you.
Melissa from Tipton, IA
Look at the big picture! Some days will be challenging, others will be a breeze. Going to Kirkwood is a fun and rewarding experience that will pay off for many days to come. Do your best, try hard, and ask as many questions as you feel needed, they will be answered.
