The Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture is an academy of eastern medicine specializing in classical five-element acupuncture. ITEA offers a master’s degree in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture in a traditional track designed for novices and practitioner track for healthcare providers. In addition to classroom instruction, the institute’s curriculum includes clinical training under faculty supervision at the on-site ITEA Clinic. The institute also hosts evening tai chi and postural balance classes throughout the year.
