With a campus situated on the northernmost point of Alaska, Ilisagvik College is a 2-year tribal institution dedicated to serving the educational needs of the Iñupiaq people. Among Ilisagvik’s ten academic departments, the Iñupiaq Studies program immerses students in Iñupiaq language, art, and culture. Throughout the school year, the campus hosts several social gatherings, such as Invite an Elder to Dinner Day. With a campus on the shores of the Arctic Ocean, Ilisagvik provides an opportunity to witness polar bears and snowy owls in the wild.
